Join us for a knowledge exchange among co-management boards, community leadership, local harvesters, Knowledge holders, government representatives and researchers working across the Western Arctic to explore opportunities to advance the monitoring, research and collaborative management of Dolly Varden and Arctic Char.

The two-day Char Summit will include keynote speakers, panels, interactive workshops and networking opportunities following the five Summit themes of: Changing Fisheries, Population and Abundance, Habitats and Environmental Change, Changing Distribution and Fish Health.

Registration for the 2026 Char Summit is free but is limited to 150 participants.
