PUBLIC REGISTRY - ARCHIVED WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT CONSULTATIONS
The GRRB is the main instrument for wildlife and wildlife habitat management in the GSA under the GCLCA. Management planning involves the making and implementation of policies, decisions or plans, or the approval of plans, involving wildlife and wildlife habitat in all cases other than where a formal harvest allocation is in place or being proposed, or any decisions regarding commercial harvesting of wildlife. The GRRB will engage the Gwich’in in a direct manner in the planning and management of wildlife and wildlife habitat.
